You may be right there. I was thinking that when I clicked send but wasn't sure and left myself open to being corrected.
I don't have a problem with people wanting to be a man when they were born a woman or vice versa, I just think that some people will take it to the point of just wanting to be different, which is why they're go to the edge of something but they're never take that leap on to the other side in order to reach what it is they claim to want to be. Not saying it's the case with this person but you can never be too sure. :)
No, you do not need to wear a strap on in order to identify as "Transgender" even though you assume that must be the only way you can. A lot of lesbians use strap ons. So wearing a strap on does not identify anything other than the fact you enjoy strap ons. As well as that some straight women enjoy pegging their boyfriends. So you know that makes it even less clear. Some women(Lesbians) enjoy having a fake dick since it makes them feel empowered. If you want to identify as transgender that is all you have to do. Say you are transgender. Transex means you are taking hormones or surgery to alter your body to the other sex.
There's a saying "sex is what's between your legs, gender is what's between your ears", and I would agree. There are many reasons one would not get the surgery, all valid. I am trans and have not got the surgery for a number of reasons. How you identify is how you identify. Gender isn't binary.
