Is it normal to be asked to help train a friend's husband

We have lived next door to the same neighbors for about 14 years, our kids are similar ages (all grown up now) but me and her been great friends for like forever since we knew each other. Used to do stuff with kids together when they were young and all that. Never really knew her husband that well, he used to go away quite a lot for work. A few months back he lost his job I think the firm went bust. Anyway he couldn't get work for ages, except something part time till Xmas. She worked part time in an admin job, but about 6 months ago chance came up for her to go full time so she took it, so don't see her as much these days anyhow had coffee a couple of months back and she tells me she bought her husband a chastity cage and shows me this thing. I heard of them but never saw one before she goes on about getting her husband to wear it. He's at home full time she's at work full time but typical man makes a lousy Job of the housework. Someone at work tells her about this chastity training web site so she gone all wierd and says she wants to train him using this thing, she says he don't know what's coming she wants him in full time chastity and wearing knickers to keep him in line. I feel sorry for him I know how manipulative she can be to him. Saw her a few days ago and she tells me she's got him wearing it Monday to Friday, she finds it funny he's not happy about it, but now she has asked me to help discipline him. I don't know what to do/think she never would have been like this before, I don't really want to be a part of it but on the other hand she's like my best friend for ever. Please help I don't know what to say to her.

Don't get involved in her non-consensual power trip. If he's not happy with this it shouldn't be happening.

Give him a book on opening padlocks.

  • I sure he would if he could but it don't work like that. She locks it on with padlock an takes the key with her to work. Well that what she told me anyway.

  • That's what I thought not normal but I feel like I pulled in 3 ways. Half me says leave well alone let them get on with it, half of me says she's my best friend and don't want to lose that and the other half of me says I should try talk some sense into her cos I think her husband is really unhappy and she will probably end up losing her marriage.

Maybe he just takes it off when she's not around then when she comes home rushes to the bathroom to re-cage the beast?

  • Tell her you're busy training your husband how to use the remote and other simple tasks since his head injury.
