I have pretty bad social skills and I like how some well-meaning people will reward you almost like a dog for doing something completely normal socially. You're just standing there like their doggi and don't fuck up and they will be all like giving you some compliments and patting your shoulder like you're a total moron but on the inside you see what their doing and it's kinda hot in a weird way as long as you play along and don't break their illusion. IIN

    I don't necessarily need, or want to be patronized, but I certainly do appreciate praise, and recognition. I think everyone does on some level.

      Some people are an exception to this trait. I am not comfortable with compliments or praise. The cold indifference of the world is what I learned to trust and blend in with at a very young age. There are others who are exceptions as well.
