Is it normal to be anxious when you hear your parents' footsteps or voices

Just hearing their voices or footsteps makes me anxious, on-edge, uncomfortable, and vaguely angry, to the point of freezing up entirely. I often end up freezing up when I hear them or yelling out of fear when they open my door and I don't realize they're there for a second. Even them touching me makes me cringe.

It's normal, I also feel that way. It's gotten to the point where I literally lock myself in my room and don't reply to text messages from my family unless I have to.

My parents are very controlling and get very threatening when I don't visit them or spend time with them.

I don't see them as often but they still make me just as anxious as when I was a kid. They've given threats towards me about "trying anything" before 25, and I'm too weak to really argue, so I just go along with whatever they want from me at this point.
