Is it normal to be antisocial?

I am just not good at talking with people. I get nervous and deathly scared and stressed for no apparent reason. When I think about it logically I don’t see why I get scared, I guess I’m paranoid of being judged. I don’t actually care that much but regardless just get scared. Is this normal? How can I fix this?

You're definitely not antisocial if you want to fix your problem. It's not normal but that's fine. I recommend seeing a therapist, there's no shame in doing so, and you seem like you really need one.

Just try to talk to them, you'll get used to it and will loose the fear you have now. If you worry about criticism just stick to light hearted topics at the beginning. Find out what you are good at, whether that is being funny, entertaining, interesting or even just a good listener and build from that. If someone invites you to a party or a hangout, go. Try to be casual and friendly, look good and gain self confidence. You'll have plenty of friends in no time!
