Is it normal to be afraid of time itself?

Time always changes people and every current moment/emotions/thoughts will go by instantly. I know that without time we wouldnt proceed but to think that we arent really the same person like in the past and to realise that the present will be just past for me in the future gives me a constant fear of time itself

You have chronophobia. This is a very common phobia.

I find it scary as well as much as I have been trying to "let go" and so on, it's hard not to be afraid of it in a sense I think.

Time is an abstract concept. Time itself isn't; and does not exist in reality.

    Your fear is completely irrational.

"I know that without time we wouldnt proceed..." (sic) [Hint: don't forget the apostrophe ('), in the future].

      Is not correct.

Because of the above, we are, in fact, "without time", but yet we continue to "proceed" anyway.
