Is it normal to be afraid of the corner of your room?

Every time I look at the corner of my room I become paralyzed with fear. I stare at it and cannot look away. I see other things and they scare me but this specific corner scares me the most. I feel like it's trying to kill me. I fantasize about stabbing the wall with a knife but I am too afraid to act. I want to hide but I'm afraid of the house I live in. Is this normal?
