I guess it is normal. Long before I got my period and started puberty (I started young), I was very hairy. Still am rather hairy. It has never caused me any problems except getting teased as a child for having hairy legs and a moustache. My moustache has never prevented people from wanting to date me. Some people do like hair. If you don't want to shave, don't.
