I'm actually a girl with a creepily similar story, so I really appreciate this post in general. Having been overweight most of my life and then changing that, I think I have a different relationship with my body than a lot of my friends do, which is why I think they don't understand why I am looking for sex AND intimacy. I think our generation is focused on visual stimuli, and less focused on conceptual components of who a person really is, which makes truly knowing a person that much more difficult. Stick to your guns; guys like you are hard to come by. :)
