  • Never owning a car is normal, I'm never going to learn to drive or buy a car. I can just get public transport, it's better for the environment.

Never having owned/rented a place at 28 probably isn't normal tbh. Still though it's nothing to be ashamed about, I'm 28 and I haven't done that either. At least you've lived somewhere else other than your parents' though, I haven't even done that.

Have you ever had a job? Not having one at this particular point in time is normal, but never having had one at 28 is probably not normal tbh. I'm not saying it's something to be ashamed about though, I got my first job at 26 and it's not even a full time job. I probably won't get my first full time job till I'm 30.

Splitting up with someone is perfectly normal, no need to even ask that.

Moving back in with your parents is normal in your 20's, lots of people do it.

Not having a social life or friends is unfortunately normal, especially these days when social anxiety and indoor activities are increasing massively.

Try not to worry about things though, you're just going through a hard time right now and things will get better. Breaking up with someone might seem like the end of the world now but time will help you move past it, and you'll find someone new eventually anyway. You'll find a job soon and move out, just try to stay positive. And make sure to talk to someone about your problems.

    • Yea I know a few people around my age that doesnt have a car or a couple that havent even have a license..

Yea I've lived with my aunt for a while, then back with my parents for 1.5 yrs, then with the bfs place for 2 yrs and now back at my parents lol

Since 2011 I think I've had about 5 jobs.. one of them I had for 4 years, another for 10 months, one for 6 months the others only a couple months..

I just dont want to be the 30 yr old that's still living with my parents..

The breaking up is fine but it's the way it ended is all

      • Well that's pretty normal nowadays to only stay with jobs for a short time, and as a result to move around a lot, especially when you're young. At least it looks good to have some variety on your CV. But you'll soon find a good secure job that'll last.

Yeah I understand bitter breakups can really stick in your mind, but it'll eventually become something that's just in the past and it won't have such a hold on you as it does now. You'll be too busy thinking about your new life. Good luck with everything!

    • What kind of job you have where you are not required to have a driver license?
