Is it normal to avoid taking showers and only wash my hair?

I don't like the itchy feeling I get all over my body after I take showers (especially on my legs since I shave them) so I don't take them altogether unless my parts feels greasy and I can smell the piss and only then will I wash up for 30 minutes. However I love taking care of my hair (it's frizzy and thick, red orange like a rusty color) so instead of climbing into the shower I lean over so only my hair gets wet and scrub my scalp with shampoo and condition. Pretty much I wash my hair almost every day to keep it nice but shower once a week to stay fresh.

  • Normal if you like to stink.

  • I get itchy after a shower too, I figured it to be an allergy to the washing powder I wash my clothes in or some thing. Maybe I should shower less, and just sit here stinking the place up - it's not like I have much of a social life anyway.

  • Your probably allergic to the water. Check to see if you have soft or hard water.

  • Well, I hope you enjoy solitude.

  • Let me guess. You live alone and have absolutely no social life, right?

  • I get the opposite - showering but avoiding washing your hair - since washing your hair everyday isn't good. That's me, I shower daily but I only wash my hair every 2-3 days.

I can NOT leave the house without showering, unless it was such an emergency to go out that I didn't have time. I'd feel so conscious that I smell.
