      Ok. I suppose I took your statement as child abuse doesn't cause PTSD based off the first sentence.

        an no, being grounded, scolded or spankings does not count unless it was excessive and unreasonable, which is also mental abuse if someone is punishing their children for things they didn't do wrong.
