Sounds to me like you just admire him, and enjoy his company. From the way you describe him, I would say that he has a lot of qualities that you would like to see yourself develop, or wished you had developed at a younger age, but at the same time you're just slightly intimidated by him. After all, he's young, successful, intelligent, personable and your supervisor. That's a difficult combination to not be a little intimidated by.
