Is it normal to...want to "clear the deck" of all friends and associates?

This is a genuine question: Is it normal to want to clear the deck so to speak, of all of my friends, associates (non-business), women I've dated or been involved with, etc? Just get rid of everybody and start over. New places to hang out, so avoid old, tiring situations, new people, less drama and b.s., and maybe..More sleep.

Is it right or ok to wholesale disassociate from everyone, without them having a reason (though some would likely guess), and just..Walk away from day to day social life and places? There are several people and places I need to get away from, for my own sanity and peace of mind, but..I'm honestly thinking clear the deck, blow it all to hell, and start from scratch. Thoughts?

Do it! Just prepare yourself good practically and spiritually for the journey.. i call it "the rake", i did it sometimes in my life... Distance yourself and pursue your heart and goal, if there are good Friends around you they will eventually be happy for you and try to remain in touch, evaluate good in the people you keep in your life, no time to get stucked, i think you should do it
