Yeah, it's kind of funny. Idk why your gf was offended though. It's not the worst idea ever, but it would probably ensure the wearer's making an ass of herself more than ensuring safety from rape.

I dunno, I rather like those hairy legs tights, but honestly I prefer to carry a butterfly knife. I haven't carried a butterfly knife since 2001 though. I do have a taser, and some pepper spray. I had a typing teacher in high school who used to be an airline stewardess back in day when that was the term they used, it was considered a glamorous job for more beautiful women, and she told us that she always carried a nail file with a sharp pointed end. She told us that she stabbed some guy in the eye with the nail file, and ran off when he tried grabbed her in NYC. I just loved Mrs. Smith, she was awesome! That stuff probably happened more than fifty years ago.
