Is it normal this fear i have of buying a costume?

I decided my mind, and decided to be brave and buy an unicorn costume. Since I'm pretty shy this is a huge deal to me, even though it probably sounds so simple and silly to you.

The thing is, I'm planning to buy it a few days from now on, but I'm starting to get some real fear of it. Like stomach pain levels of fear.

I'm worried what other people would think. If you we're in a clothing shop and you saw a guy buying an unicorn costume, what would you legitimately think? That's my biggest problem ATM.

I just want to know if I am likely to be visually judged, so I can work at my insecurities, or if goes smoothly and my head just likes wasting my goddamn brain.

    I would assume that he's going to a costume party & not give it a second thought.

    Relax. Lots of people buy costumes for perfectly normal reasons.

      I just went there today. Shit, it was scary at first, but then I did it. It feels so awesome having finally bought one, thank you, your comment helped me a lot.

    I would be pretty weirded out honestly. Definitely going to be judged but who cares? No one is going to keep tabs on your face and the unicorn costume that the face bought.
