Is it normal they were upset i called him fat?

I was with some friends in my home and I caught a one of them stealing video games from me. After making him empty his pockets, I grabbed my stuff and said something along the lines of "Get out of my house, you fat piece of shit!". He left in tears and everyone else was all: sure it was wrong for him to steal your stuff, but did you really have to call him fat? I told them, if someone hurts me, they should expect to be hurt back. Ugh. Are they normal?

So your friends think a verbal insult is a worse offense than stealing?
"Well yeah sure he was trying to steal but did you have to call him fat?"
Jesus christ do they have a piece of shit lodged in their brain?

Is it normal? Not sure but one thing IS sure - your friends are a bunch of sensitive autistic fucktards.

so funny do they have a piece of lodged in their brain?

    • Yeah, honestly I think I just lost this circle of friends over this incident. I don't trust any of them after this. I'm okay with just letting them go now.

No offense, but those friends of yours sound like a bunch of scumbags.

  • It's normal that they were upset, because he was a pussy and cried about it. I don't think you were in the wrong, even though that wasn't the best way to handle the situation.

    • Yeah. It was, but it's better than calling the cops or hitting him. XD

You did nothing wrong. He had it coming for taking stuff that's not his. Aka stealing.

Its acceptable to call him fat in those circumstances.

A thief is a thief, any friend that got mad at you calling the fat thief fat are bad people themselves.

Well most 11 year olds are like that. I think it is the hormones when you are going through puberty.

Is he actually fat? Because then it's just the truth and you shouldn't shelter people from stuff like that imo?

    • It's true. He's fat. I agree, people shouldn't be sheltered from the truth. I used to be fat and realized the only way people would stop pointing it out is if I lose the weight.

basically it is a cliche to say you fat piece of dung. but of course people who have body issues are not needing to hear that they are fat, but of course when people steal i cannot stand it. my belongings, sometimes even new belongings have a weird way of coming up missing. i know who does it and go the fudge off. then i feel bad about it.

It is very typical of the walrus left to justify thievery. I recently had a conversation with a radical leftist justifying female mutilation because Islam matters more than #metoo. Throw your weight around and take back your game.

    • Yeah, the exchange was childish, but I just don't enjoy someone trying to steal something I spent my hard earned money on. He's lucky I didn't call the cops or get violent. I know my friends would if it happened to them so I'm not sure why they got on my case. XD

That's completely fair enough, stealing is a piece of shit thing to do.

I totally get why you were pissed, but the name calling just brings you down. You're better than that.

The piece of shit part is reasonable. It's a fact and also related to the incident. His weight may also be fact, but it is unrelated.

Why he was stealing shit, if I was getting stolen from I would kick his fat ass.

To tell you the truth I really don't give a shit about what happens to thieves. I certainly wouldn't care about you hurting that person's feelings.

However, you might have had the moral high ground if instead of calling him a fat piece of shit you just told him you were deeply disappointed, and politely asked him to leave. Not that this person isn't a fat, piece of shit, because I have chosen to trust your judgment on the issue.

    • I wasn't going for the moral high ground. I was trying to hurt him with the insult. I was mad because this dude doesn't have a job/ isn't looking for one and he had the nerve to try and take things I spent my hard earned money on.

Well, I certainly don't blame you! Are the other gonna guys still be friends with his thieving ass? I will gladly dump someone as a friend if I find out that person is a thief regardless of whether, or not I'm the person said thief has stolen from, or not. Don't ever let his sorry ass back in your house again.

Yeah, I would be done with them too. What the Hell kinda scumbags stay friends with a thief, and give you attitude about how you talk to such a person?

I am curious as to what he stole though.
