Is it normal these people are getting more likes than me?

I'm tired of seeing the same regular ass people with regular ass pictures getting more likes than me. The same regular ass shoes, the same regular ass bags, these people don't even know about the chain I'm wearing around my neck right now (they don't even know what it ***is!***)

I'm close to just saying, if I don't start getting the "likes" I deserve and pay for with my hard-earned cash, I'm bouncing. These people think I'm arrogant? I dropped damned near 1000 dollars on a shirt, and I'm still seeing bums get more likes than me. You can't afford my shit.

I assume that "ass bag" is what fuckwits call a colostomy bag, but what's an "ass shoe"? Is that slang for a butt plug?

And what's this about the secret chain around your neck? Is it a BDSM community thing which is signalling that you're the sex slave of that obese, hairy, old biker-dude who's always standing next to you in your irregular ass pictures?

      This cracked me up.

    • You should know whether it's a butt plug or not, based on how many your father has shown you.

My chain is adorned with a sacred Hindu medallion I got while I was travelling in India. You don't know its value, and while my irregular ass pictures might be irregular ass, they contain scenes of beauty taken during my time abroad that you will never come close to seeing. Stop projecting.

Unless you're a porn star, looks don't matter in terms of gathering a following.

Seriously, go look at some of the biggest Twitch streamers/Youtubers back when they first started. Or, in the realm of actors, look at Danny Devito. (No offense to him of course.) People gravitate to people with charisma.

Based on this post alone, you have 0 charisma.

Maybe, just maybe, they are tired of liking people who show off expensive clothes and accessories. Just because you wear the "better" clothes doesn't automatically make you more attractive or likeable.

Some people like something they can put themselves in. They won't buy clothes for over a hundred euros even if they had the money. They are used to other things.

I could theoretically afford it, but I don't see the benefit. I wouldn't like it either.

    • But my clothes are a signifier of my wealth, which has allowed me to experience things other's haven't. This means I am a more attractive, likeable person, because I've have more attractive, likeable experiences.

Violation means non-compliance with a rule or the law, when I'm compliant I don't commit a violation. You're not going to change my identity, I'm the way I should be. I'm not violating any laws of Puritanism and I don't think you want me to be a violator as I am not a violator and I know that because my mum said so. I'm the way I should be and I'll live exactly how I please! If I commit a violation then I will be a transgressor and I will have to go back to my old identity. Stick your violation up your stinky arse!

Social media likes are pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things, so I wouldn't get caught up in them. They don't really mean anything, as I've seen people who seem to not be able to stand each other like each other's photos and posts, so it is sure not a positive indicator of popularity. I think it has to do with algorithms and how much the photo gets viewed than anything.

Like dumbasssite said, many people also buy social media likes and followers (which I personally think is about the biggest waste of money ever).

Either way, there are much more important things to worry about than social media likes and other people's opinions of you. My recommendation would be to only spend that kind of money if 1) you can reasonably afford it, and 2) you genuinely like those things, and not to impress others. The reality is that most people are caught up in their own worlds and worried more about their own lives than concerned with what you have, anyway.

People dont like tryhards. Stop trying to fit in to please people and do what you feel like doing, then you’ll get complements

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Who cares, stop being so shallow and you won't be affected by it.
Lots of people buy likes and followers anyways. Social media is fake.
Go outside and touch some rocks or something.

What I meant was just uploading stuff without caring about other people's numbers of likes

Also I'm pretty sure it's extremely unhealthy to care about number of likes.

Who the hell cares if people like the bums better? Be confident in yourself, you don't need that god damn $1000 shirt. Find some good friends who will treat you right.
