The constitution DOES NOT say that it's the job of the police or any government entity to protect another person. It's been upheld in multiple supreme court decisions. The police don't have any responsibility to protect anyone. So then what is their job?
Protecting the rich people's money, generating revenue, finding people to put into the private-prison slavery industry. Nothing good.
The supreme court has upheld multiple times that the constitution doesn't guarantee the right to police protection. They can let you get shot and not be held legally responsible.
