Is it normal there are only a few people whose comments i usually read?

I seem to read the same people's comments, like I'm drawn to them. I also scroll down and search to see if these people have commented on a post. When I read other comments I am usually disappointed or bored. I do try to branch out but there's only a handful of smart and interesting people. If someone I haven't seen before comments I usually instantly know by the first or second sentence whether they are someone I will look out for in future.
