I agree, telling him it's because he's not big enough for her isn't kind or respectful. She sounds superficial and immature as well as disrespectful.
Wanting someone else as well as the primary partner is normal but actually doing something about it has to be with respect and agreement of all parties.

Maybe that kind of relationship is good for you personally but not everyone feels that owning their partner as if they are property is good or ideal.
