Is it normal the ocean scares me
Its just so big, deep and open. What could be in the bottom, where light wont reach? Im not scared of water but ocean scares the shit out of me. I think only 5% or something has been explored.

It's okay to be afraid of ocean because we can't breathe in water and we actually don't know what we may encounter in there.
If you are afraid if diving in water, you are suffering from a phobia which you should overcome with professional help.

We're terrestrial creatures.
Which means I don't think many people LOVE the thought of being stranded in the middle of the ocean.
That said I prefer being (on land) near the ocean, as opposed to being really far inland away from major water bodies. I like being near the sea, maybe it's the lifestyle around it or even just the air, idk
