Is it normal that women are happier than men?

I notice that men are usually more serious, glum, or depressed compared to women. Most women seem to be more spontaneous and more able to break into smile or laughter, generally more light hearted in nature.

    I'm sure that is more behavioral. I know a lot of depressed women who put up a bubbly show because they were socialized into doing so. Men probably seem serious because they are trying to seem manly and stoic because they don't want to be seen as a 'fruitcake.'

    It could be not having to deal with having a penis that is constantly guiding your actions. Just a guess tho.

      women are hormonal and moody @ss b!tches, this is a proven fact. they can be sensitive one moment then equally insensitive the next. they're unpredictable, dangerous, and full of hypocrisies. being friendly and pleasant is just a fake façade.
