At work: everytime my Manager is whispering with someone else in their office, I always think they are talking about something that I did wrong or just mean things about me........ am I the only one?
My mind actually makes up conversations when I don't understand what is being said. It's a mix of nervousness and hearing voices (I'm crazy and have the paperwork to prove it, lol). Bi-polar schizophrenic.
It's to the point where I have to ignore everything unless it's clear that I am being spoken to kind of thing. I'm learning to deal with it but it can be difficult.
I hate people whispering, anywhere anytime! It is so rude! I speak at normal volume everywhere and welcome people near to me to join the conversation, or debate. I've nothing to hide from people nearby as I'm not being malicious about anyone.
they could just be talking about a private matter or gossiping about someone else, but I hate people whispering in the office. It seems unprofessional and doesn't make for a good atmosphere. They should take it to some other more secluded space, (but not the toilets lol)
actually only if they shoot evil glares at you and smile at you evily.i think youre normal because i have those thoughts to.

Just because someone is whispering doesn't mean it's about you.
Most likely you only play one factor in their conversation... the fact that they don't feel it's your business... which is why they're whispering so you can't hear.
I feel the same way sometimes. Just try not to stress over what other people are saying, it's not very likely it's anything about you.
I had that same thing whenni was a supervisor at Kohls. I was paranoid constantly and. 95% the time they were talking about me so just watch ure back and do ure best at work
