Is it normal that when i envision having sex with my bf its in the 3rd person

When i have dreams or envision having sex with my boyfriend (i've been with him for a couple years and we've had sex, but at the moment its long distance) i have them in the 3rd person. I see me having sex with him as if i was somebody watching it. Ive never had one where im viewing it from my perspective and ive always found this odd. Is it normal?

    you probably think this has some deep meaning, but this is how all my dreams are. (but its supposed to mean you don't have any control during sex) (aw,weak)
