Is it normal that well into my late teens

I had horribly terrifying recurring nightmares about house cats attacking me, chasing me, biting me. Not lions or panthers, I am talking like kitty cats. The kind that eat Meow Mix. They subsided when I was in my early twenty's for good I hope.
