Is it normal that video games in realistic graphic style hurt my eyes?

Playing modern/realistic graphical games like Witcher 3 becomes blurry after awhile. Everything blends in together, and it's sometimes difficult to discern interactive people/objects from the environment.

I have to rest my eyes and take more frequent than other games.

Is It Normal?

    Its normal. I like 2d games better. 3d is taxing on eyes.
