I've noticed this as well.
I knew a kid when I was younger who was the poster child for this, acting like he was from the hood and being a wannabe "gangsta", while actually being from a well off family in a nice area.
i worked with a guy years ago whos whole identity was bein a hillbilly from kentucky except he lived in a condo in florida
we called him the condobilly
