Is it normal that tinted windows have ruined flirting in traffic?

Does that happen anywhere else?

I've had this question on my mind for a very long time. I live in a very sunny and hot town and having tinted windows in your car is pretty much default. I have the darkest one permitted by law. Since it's extremely hot over here most of us have the A/C on and windows up.

What I've noticed, though, is that I never have those one-minute love affairs/ instant and ephemeral "I'll have your babies and they will be beautiful" relationships I used to have when my windows were plain clear.

I just want to know how common it is around the rest of the world to get window tint!

    I have tinted windows mainly for the privacy I don’t really like the attention. The last thing I want is more weirdos staring.

      I have the opposite problem. The guys who stare through my car window are not weird enough.

    The drivers in my town are terrible. I'm pretty sure doing that would either have them hit you or cause them to rear end someone. Lol

    I'm a guy, so I doubt many women would take the time to not stare at their phones and flirt with me at the lights.

    Also, all three of my Mercedes have 35% tinted windows. Not too black, but dark enough to not see someone's face in detail. I tinted my windows cause the dark glass makes my cars look cooler and more aggressive. Also I don't flirt in traffic, I just focus on driving.

    Tho if I'm feeling extra flirty, I do the douchebagiest Mercedes thing ever...
    I roll down my window, turn my head towards the girl I like, lower my sunglasses just so she can see my eyes, give her a quick wink, pull sunglasses back up, roll window back up and when the light turns green - floor it.

    Maybe it would be different if I was very attractive, but I don't really like looking at people in traffic. I feel like it's usually taken in an offensive way. Maybe it's because half the time I'm usually road-raging anyway, so I probably have an angry look on my face. Most of the time I just stare straight ahead. People often think I'm trying to race them or something...

    I really would like to have my windows tinted.

    I don't flirt in traffic. Creeps try to get my attention, and I basically just try to ignore them as much as possible.

      I don't either but only because no one can actually see me anymore. :/

      Traffic-love is the best really low maintenance kind of relationship you can ever have! ♡

      PS: Tinted windows was the question, you have those or not?

        I'm plenty of fun, but not for everyone, and I like it that way.

        No tinted windows here, and I drive a convertible.
