Is it normal that the lower class some is, the more they crave attention?

Alright, so the lower class and/or less attractive people out there often seem to want attention.

Like say you are in a suburban type store, no one will bother you or try to make a scene.

Yet you go to some place like Walmart where there are tons of mutoids, inbreds, trailer trash, and disgusting losers, THEY want attention.

Are they THAT starved for attention? They are easier to avoid since you can usually smell cigarette stench before you see them.

Admittedly, my income is probably less than what they sponge off the government but I do not look or smell like a slob AND I bother no one when I am out.

    If a person has come from a broken home, has experienced abuse, and neglect then there's a good chance that person might be somewhat attention starved, but it's not that person's fault that he, or she has been forced to go without. It's actually quite sad.

    This just makes you seem like some pompous prat that speaks the Queen's English, cause regular English is for the plebs and you play croquet like a douchebag and hold your pinky up while you drink stuff...

    Poor people come from homes that have lots of problems, family issues, etc... It's common for them to be a little louder, rougher around the edges and care less about what others think of their actions. I doubt they are doing whatever they are doing for attention. It's just how they deal with problems. We don't have Walmart in Europe, but the closest thing I can imagine are the really shitty supermarkets like "Norma" in Germany and "Mila Market" in Bulgaria... Second one could have gone bankrupt... You always see funny characters that make a scene, are loud, or just plain wrong... Still not every poor person that shops there is a blithering, loudmouth idiot... Lots of people there are just poor and are doing their shopping there, cause everywhere else is expensive. Shopping at Metro for a week costs 100 Euros.

    Are you asking about the low income thing, or the attractiveness thing? Because I think they are two different things. Income level isn't a reliable indicator of attractiveness

      No, neither. I am trying to figure out why disgusting people, petty criminals, and other undesirables are the quickest to want attention.

      This site is called "is it normal?", not "i hate everything". In my opinion, this site is for people, who wonder what would a stranger say about their problems/what advice would they give.
