Is it normal that teachers ask if im okay?

So at school i had a few teachers ask me if everything was okay, which things werent and i said "Yeah im fine" they knew i was lying, and continued to see what was wrong. Im pretty sure they know a little bit about me, but i absolutely love when people ask if im alright. why? Its it normal? Because it other classes i can be happy normal me, but around them im usually sad on purpose, but its become a habit. Anyone else?

    Are you okay?

    Normal. I suppose you satisfaction from it because it shows that people care about you. You want to feel loved so this act bring great joy to you.

    However, I'm often the exact opposite. I hate when people I'm not close to or I barely know ask me that, especially if it's repeatedly. Why ask continuously if I've already said my answer? What is wrong with people?! It's like a invasion of privacy, especially if they ask you in front of other people! A question like that is meant for privacy. >_<

    I actually felt the same way when I first started college. I didn't like what I was doing so it was a serious drag to me and I would look really bored and depressed in class. I also didn't know ANYONE so that was pretty stressfull.
