Yes, I wish there was really SEVERE consequences for cruelty to animals - worldwide.
I think you are generalizing the aggressive and violent biological nature of males (men) to apply to all men, regardless of their individual personalities and upbringing, simply because they are men. Then you are making a second generalization based on that one; linking men to the aggressive & violent behavior of animal cruelty.
I think it's more of a cultural (taught in the home) thing to be cruel to animals, and not so much a men vs. women, violence vs. nurturing thing.
