  • The funny thing about this for me is the *someone I know* bit. Why did you do it like that? Is it a matter of national security?

    As for the rest, dampening dry food in something moist to make it easier to swallow? It's why dip exists. And sauce. And butter. And gravy. And why people have a drink with a meal. How long you leave between mouthfuls and gulps is a matter of choice. Cutting the time down to zero is also a choice.
