Is it normal that some of the church lyrics make me feel awkward?

I enjoy my church service greatly (Hickory Grove). Sometimes though, the song lyrics can make me feel a bit awkward or humorous. For example "...We come", "He's waiting for your load", and "Lord please take us." When lyrics like this show up on the song screen I find it takes all of my self control to not look uncomfortable due to my own pervyness.

    The bit that made me uncomfortable as a kid was the

    " peace be with you "

    * limp handshake and creepy eye contact from a stranger*

    Try not to think about the songs instead concentrate on the priest thats fondling you.

    But seriously I never even thought about that stuff. When was young I didn't notice anything like that becos I was naive but when I was old enough I was ditching Sunday School and Sunday service to go smoke and hang out in the parking lot.
