Is it normal that soda hurts my tongue when i drink it?

It happens to me too and I get really sick after drinking soda.

Probably a good thing. All the more encouragement not to drink that tasty garbage

Then don't.

It's the carbonic acid most likely. I'm not a big fan of it either. When I drink water with it I like to leave it standing for a while so the carbonic acid isnt so strong but with soda its harder to do that because it affects the taste so much.
