Is it normal that on this site..

I've had posts where people have been super nice and sympathetic and I've gotten great responses and vibes, and then I've had posts where people were like "ur a psychopath" or called me out for being very very wrong/weird?

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had similar experiences- and point out that we can't really judge a person based on only one part of their life.

I mean yeah if you say
“I saw a dog carrying a flower today and it was sweet :)”
People will probably be kind and happy with you, but when you turn around and say,
“I’d bury a Bowie knife in my neighbors chest for some strawberry lemonade right now”
People are going to probably respond negatively.

It really depends on the question you are asking

If they got both on the same question that would be interesting

Well, to be fair, no one knows anything about you, all they have to go by is the question you post. Ask something that makes you sound psychotic, people ("normal" ones, anyway) are going to say so.

Psychotic people can be weird, but they don't have to be. :]

  • How much should I bet that nobody has actually called you a psycho but you want people to think you're a psycho when you're not?

Depends on people’s moods I’d say. In regards to responses, sometimes I’m serious, honest. And other times totally the opposite.

Dude, this site is called "is it normal"; the whole premise is based on judging whether something is normal or not.

When given compartmentalized knowledge, as we get on this site, people act accordingly. Also, you get the same form of response in real life. Do something nice and people call you a good person; do something bad and people call you a piece of shit. People probably don't think you're an actual psychopath; they're just expressing their thoughts on a particular deed, and how it reflects on your character.

Most people don't even know the definition of psychopath

Yeah, some of my posts here were called troll posts because of how bizarre they seemed. Lol I just happen to have known a lot of weirdos and been in weird situations over the years. Because they were weird, I can understand why they thought that way. XD

Think of this site like a mini version of society. You'll find those you can vibe with, those you can learn from, those you can debate with, those who'll disagree with facts, and those who're just looking to cause trouble. Ultimately it's a matter of weeding out the comments that don't benefit the purpose of the post and taking what you can from the ones that're genuine

I had one post that people tore me apart on. I didn’t even think it mattered that much. But all these big dogs around here had something nasty to say.

It’s normal, different questions will get different responses.

That’s just how some people are in general. They can like someone and vibe with them but once that person does something they don’t like, someone is bound to say something and judge. Not everyone but most people are like this. Look at the internet. Places like twitter or Instagram, you see people judge others they barley know over the smallest things to the biggest. Try not to let it get to you and just accept that not everyone is gonna like you or be cool with certain things you do or say. Don’t stress over it. Life is too short for that bull.
