Is it normal that my skin straight up turns purple?

Okay so, whenever it is cold outside and I’m outside, my body starts to turn a lightish purple, yet I don’t feel that cold. Is this normal?

    If you're pale and it's somewhat splotchy, it's a natural reaction to cold that's less noticeable in darker skinned people.

    I used to get that sometimes, but I haven't got a clue as to whether or not it's normal, or what it might mean.
