Is it normal that my sister hates my music taste?

My sister and I have a 9 year difference.
I like the music she plays generally but whenever I play music she hates it so much.
I always thought I had a very broad music taste.
I like upbeat songs, slow songs lead with a piano, rock at some times, emo type songs as well, love songs from around 2006 and many more.
Whenever she hears me playing a song that she likes, she says that it's because she influenced me and the person I am has nothing to do with the music taste I have.

Is It Normal?

    Dude, you're older than her so feel free to up the confidence. This is what I've had to do with my younger sister.

    She tells me that she hates and dislikes a lot of stuff that I like, which is just plain rude, but hey-it's me. I like it so you don't have to.

    Just try to stay at peace with her too in these moments of controversy and it'll be alright.
