PS: Someone I know well put up with long heavy periods until guess what? she collapsed, was taken to hospital and needed to have her uterus removed because the heavy bleeding was caused by an untreated non-malignant tumor, which could've been easily removed with no hysterectomy if she'd had it checked out earlier.
Not saying this is OP's problem but who knows if she doesn't have it checked out?

Buy the most expensive "heavy-flow" pads and tampons on the market and that's pretty much all you can do to fix it.
