Is it normal that my long distance girlfriend had a dream where i killed her?

So we haven't met yet, but seen each other plenty of times on Skype, etc. One day she tells me about a nightmare she had, in which I walked into the bathroom while she was taking a shower, I had a knife and I said 'hope this helps you to shut up', then I stabbed her and she woke up. Funny fact is that I tell her to shut up quite often when she says something stupid, though I never mean it.
I'm actually worried that her brain could build up something like that about me... is it a bad sign? Or just normal stuff?

Is It Normal?

  • It was just a dream. It's not a bad sign of anything, so there's really nothing to worry about.

  • Don't know, but the first time my bf said that to me I would dump him. That isn't tolerable language to mature people. Perhaps your gf is out of your league and your antics are starting to get to her. You might just cause her to snap and she will end up being the one with the knife.

    • I did tell that everytime I say that I don't mean it, didn't I? And she knows it because she does that too, its a way of joking...

      • Or maybe she's just being nice for the sake of your feelings, and you really are getting to her and she doesn't know how to tell you without hurting your feelings/pride.
