    There are contraception methods which would actually stop her periods. Unless having sex on her period is the actual sort of thing she enjoys.

        I hated having sex on my period. To me it was embarrassing and I didn't even enjoy it. It was like I was desensitised.
        Like other members have suggested, shower sex is a good idea.

            Nope. Doesn't hurt at all. But personally, I couldn't feel anything, at all. Just felt like I was being poked to be honest.
