Okay, here is the story. I have to get it off my shoulders because it's been boggling my mind for a few days now.
My girlfriend and I were sharing stories about our first sexual encounters and I was sort of shocked when she told me that her first sex was with a man 20 years her senior. In my mind I understand that it's no big deal and that I also have a few skeletons in my closet, but whenever I visualize that 40 year-old bastard having sex with her I get really upset for some reason. So what do you guys think about it?

    Unless he raped her, get over it. Maybe in your mind you know that you can never measure up to an experienced "40 year-old bastard" who knows how to pleasure a woman so it makes you angry. You know the whole time you're with her she's wishing you knew how to get her off like he did.

      Actually, this is not what I am concerned about. I am 30 now and I can bet my bottom dollar I am a much better lover than that guy was. What boggles my mind is that she VOLUNTARILY AGREED to have her first intercourse with someone 20 years her senior. Is it normal for a girl to do such things?

    Sorry.. My first post wasn't very kind. As far as normal goes, I'd say it's not given the fact that most men/women have their first experiences with like aged people. At the same time, everyone is different. Not knowing their relationship at the time, one can only guess that it was someone she knew and not a random hook-up.
    It's difficult not to be jealous of past partners, and the age difference makes hers stick out more. As long as he's no longer in her life and you're happy with her, I'd say do your best to let it go.
    If he's still around, talk to her about it. Hopefully she can ease your mind and reassure you that nothing is there anymore.
