But I can tell you that women refuse to shave after the first couple of times because it's *really* unpleasant for us when it starts growing back.
This is what I do, and it works out well for everyone involved: I have an electric trimmer (not a razor). I take the guide off and trim my bush with just the blade. It cuts it down to about a sixteenth of an inch, which is short enough to render me "bare", but not short enough to cause skin problems when it grows. And since she likes to shave you, you could offer to do it for her. She might like that idea.
Another thing... has she had children? The mons is one of those parts that stretches way out when a woman gets pregnant. Mine looks like a kangaroo pouch (I swear). Bush covers that stretched out part up. Maybe she's selfconscious. Or maybe she has an embarrassing tattoo under there.
