Is it normal that my english teacher is obsessed with indian culture?

Exactly what it sounds like.

She's white, but married to an Indian guy. She frequently talks about Idnian culture, asks the Indian students about traditional holidays/whatever, promotes the Indian Cultre club that she started, etcetera.

She is pretty nice about it generally but some kids think it's awkward and weird, which I somewhat agree with. Is her behavior normal?

    She married an Indian man so now half of her family is now Indian, and when she has children they will be half Indian so her level of interest is completely normal.

          That's like saying you hate white people because we have a huge heroin problem. There are TONS of bad Indians who want to scam your grandma and open your sisters bobs, and there are TONS of bad members of every other race who contribute to keeping their stereotypes alive.

            No it's because I am only getting screwed around by indians, an it's happening a lot because they can't speak english well enough to communicate. It's not Americans screwing up my orders, my electricity, my internet, my phone. Its not Africans... It's indians!

              False equivalency. You can not equate one billion Indian people with three $1 burgers. Also, people are more varied than three McDonalds chains.
