But I would get on that "hating people" thing if I were you. It's not a good sign at any age, and it's not a really happy way to live. I would imagine that it would adversely affect her writing as she limits her exposure, and thus her experiences, with other people. So there's that.
When I was 7 to 10 years old or so I had a serious hatred for humans, I thought they were a waste of space and wanted the planet to be free from them even if that meant i'd be gone too.
I never told the adults because they would have thought me insane, but I am actually pretty okay now. I don't think it's an alarming thing to be nihilistic at that age. She's just exploring the options.
Nowadays I actually have a better opinion of this species.
um no but the problem in the book is that there are pure magic beings that represent parts of nature and stuff
she represents animals
one is elements (weather, fire, rock)
one is plants
one is abstract stuff like art (good things that people have done)
the bad guy is people
the 4 good guys have to fix what people are doing to the earth by killing/fixing the bad guy. if they kill it, the entier human race gets wiped out; one species extinct vs the entire world gone
or they can try to fix this thing and fix people whitch will be near imposible
then this thing captures her friends and will kill them if she doesnt do something so she has no choice bu to shoot the thing with an arrow, obviosly killing it
IIN That my daughter, who is 10, wants to publish a fantasy novel?

It's lovely that she's doing all that.

So what you're saying is that she looks down on her family and friends? That doesn't seem like the most appealing character trait.
Nihilism in a kid that young? I still say :( to that.
