Is it normal that my cousin and i want to have sex?

My and my cousin are about two years apart. We never got along when we were younger, then when we hit 12 and 14, she started getting close and touchy with me constantly. At first, I didn't notice, but our other cousins would tease her and I felt embarrassed by it. As we grew older, she would be completely annoying and fight with me like how cousins do and then be close with me the next second.

Eventually, I just let her do whatever and thought that maybe she's just that kind of person. She likes hugging and cuddling and is as comfortable with me as it gets. I told myself that I would never be attracted to her because it's the weirdest thing in the world to be attracted to family. At some point during our high school years, I did ask if she ever had feelings for me, and she said that she thought I was cute when I had long hair, but she thought that about any guy with long hair.

She just graduated high school and I'm in college. I've done so many crazy sexual things now, I don't know whether I'm more open minded or something else. My cousin and I have gotten comfortable enough to have talked about sexual fantasies. When we hug, I cant feel her whole body and she just accepts it. So now I'm starting to think that maybe she wants to have sex and I have been wanting it too after all these years, but just been in denial because I was so embarrassed by it. I've fantasized about her a little and I'm wondering if I should try asking her about it or not.
