It's not uncommon to have sex only occasionally, think of it this way, you wouldn't want to have sex too often, otherwise it might get boring.
Good advice, talk to him about it and if he can't really offer a good explanation, maybe you should reevaluate your relationship. It may seem overkill to say that just because of your sex life, but at that age...it's really important. Think about how it will be when he's 40 ::shudder:: I would be pissed if my boyfriend only had sex with me twice a month. It's kind of wrong that he is trying to blame it on you. Confront him and if things don't improve, find someone else who will give you the attention you want and need.
