Past experiences have shown to me that there are loud and quiet orgasms from both male and female, but almost always some noticable physical reactions.
Doesn't mean they enjoyed it any less or more. Matter of fact a little moaning and some grunts may be preferred over some of the most vocal I've been with.
Screaming in your ear, cussing, calling the partner names(which is fine if you're into that, but if it's the first time they've used the language or terms, it can be a surprise). I've even lost my interest and started laughing in one case where the person was comically vocal.
So I guess be careful of what you ask for.
Of course, if you insist in just getting that vocal response, there are ways. Give his balls a good hard squeeze when you feel him coming or if you're giving him oral just bite a little when he cums. He'll get vocal!
Many, many years ago I was a naïve young sailor stationed in Scotland, and the common scuttlebutt amongst my fellow sailors who were out on the hunt every weekend was that Scottish girls were terrible at clawing a guy's back during sex.
It never happened to me; if it had, there would only have been one occasion when it was possible. I've always suspected that this is (or at least was) something that women from the lower strata of society picked up as being the "normal" - maybe even expected - behaviour for a woman during sex.
I havent given any nail holes or scratches but I have gotten them a few times.
Not sure why some do that, but they weren't lower class women.
Don't remember it happening for quite some time, so maybe there is something to the expectation theory. We were all young late teens, twenty something's at the time.
IIN that my boyfriend doesn't make any noise when he cums?

But, you get a vocal response!
