Is it normal that my acquaintance is talking this way to me? what is his aim?
Here is a conversation between an acquaintance I've got a little closer to (in a talking way), he has done a few nice things for me like collect my missing winter item, mopped up my spilled (by someone else) beer with his hoody; then telling me he doesn't do this for anyone else and I occasionally saw him stare at me or maybe near me? unsure!
He's talking to me a bit more and more now; were connecting through the medium of online poker game to. before this convo, he drank and played (and won) poker with his friends/dad and his grammar and spelling is a bit rubbish here so please excuse me (well, him) for this!
Anyway, i'm not sure if he's interested in me and how or if it's our mutual friend *R who is interested in me and he's in the middle as a messenger or both?? or neither?? no idea, I am confused! HELP Please!

Him: given up for now > blah> won £40 from home game> LOTTERIES WOO> (I'm drunk)

Him and ME: *random conversation* (n/a)
HIM:just to be clear are you single are no? as u made a post about ""getting out there" or some such and it made me confused > after u had a chat with *R
ME: was reclusive
He: ah so you're still with ah so you're still with *...but you don't get out too much?
Me: If I went out any less people would cattle prod me out!
Him: yeah its just after that game you made a post about getting out there more and it seemed like a relationship thing > but if its not then that's that, I just like to be up to date on there things > I don't even gossip to others, I just like being up to date >well I just like to know who's single and who's not to be honest
Him: my *Poker game is up to date, wanna join a play money sit n go? >join one I'll find you > got points?>

*there's a bit of conversation where he persuades me to play him more at online poker (another table)
Me: does getting pissed get you flirty then?
Him: well more than I am sober >but when I'm sober I'm literally 0 flirty
Me: that's alcohol for you!
Him: but I just checked and you never said, are you a single pringle or no? so yay or nay?
Me: nay for the single, tho flirting when pissed is fine lol
Him: fair do's, you don't think *R stalks you a tad though? >I mean between the two of us he seems to be everywhere you are
Me: I have a few friends who i see a lot which I don't mind
plus we have a geeky subject we talk about a lot, blah bla
Him: *then he asks me if i'm into gaming, (he is an avid gamer)*

What is his aim with me? Have you got any suggestions what my move should be if applicable?
