I was just thinking this too. Ask her if she's had sexual experiences with other people or family members. Also, I'd be weary of telling the parents, they tend to over react to these sort of things. Or very worst case scenario, she could have been abused by the father which is why she thinks this is ok. I would encourage her to talk to a counselor about it either way.
I shudder to think. When it comes to stuff like that a dear friend of mine and I always just look at each other and say, "there but for the grace of God go I." It's funny because my friend's actually an agnostic but it speaks to how horrendous such acts of child abuse are.
